Oregon Jewish Museum & Center for Holocaust Education
A long‑term partnership creating and maintaining a digital platform that preserves history, amplifies voices, and makes education accessible online.
Challenge
OJMCHE sought to modernize its digital presence with a new website that could fulfill multiple roles — a learning hub, exhibit archive, e‑commerce platform, and community resource. The project required an elegant balance of design clarity, accessibility, and highly functional integrations, all while managing sensitive historical content with accuracy and respect.
Solution
As part of the original creative and development team, I led digital strategy to unify content architecture, user experience, and visual design. The site was built around intuitive navigation, allowing visitors to explore oral histories, online exhibits, and educational materials with ease. Key features included an interactive archive of recorded histories, an integrated ticketing and donation system, a membership portal, and an online gift shop.
Since launch in 2019, I’ve continued to collaborate directly with the museum’s director to evolve the site — adding new exhibits, maintaining performance, and updating accessibility standards as the institution’s programs grow.
